Billet Hemi Head Repair

Fontana billet blown alcohol hemi head from a 572 cubic inch pulling tractor. When the phone rings Monday morning we have to be ready for anything.

Fire up the coffee pot… It’s going to be a long day. Here are a few more pictures of the same chamber. 

Seats and guides removed.

Chamber scanned and  digitized.  Deck recut .010 and chamber CNC’d  .010 deeper

 

 

 

 

Seats recut on Newen Epoc to match depth.

Chamber sanded and blended. Seats hand blended.

 

 

 

 

O-ring grooves recut. O-rings reinstalled. Ready to reassemble.
