Porsche 944 Turbo Rework

Here is a Porsche 944 Turbo head that we prepared.  We reduced the valve stem diameter from 9mm to 11/32 (.341).  This enabled us to choose from a large selection of valve blanks.  We picked an inconel exhaust valve to work with the turbo.  Our valve shapes generated improved air flow as well as lighter weight.  These valves compare favorably with the original equipment parts cost wise.  We also fitted the head with custom manganese bronze valve guides. 

A close look at the exhaust port reveals the stock ceramic port liner which we blended into the valve seat.  The intake port received a more in depth treatment.  The chamber remained stock as we determined the shape to be quite nice as machined by Porsche.
